Four Oklahomans were charged with murder Wednesday in connection with a set of human remains found in southeast Oklahoma City.

The charges name Levi Craig Griffith, 21, and Amanda Carlene Maxon, 20, both of Oklahoma City, Benjamin Joseph Lee McCormick, 21, of Harrah, and Laura Karen Griffith, 18, of Newalla.

The remains were found Friday and identified Tuesday as those of 26-year-old Oklahoma City resident Jens Peter Rasmussen.

The four defendants are accused of shooting and killing Rasmussen with a shotgun, according to the charges filed in Oklahoma County District Court.

Oklahoma City police began a missing-person investigation March 15 and found Rasmussen's blood-stained car the next day at Lake Stanley Draper.

An affidavit related to the case had been sealed and was unavailable Wednesday.

The defendants also face a charge of conspiracy to commit felony robbery with a firearm.

According to the charges, they met at 1513 SW Binkley to carry out the conspiracy. The address is listed in court documents as the residence of Levi Griffith.
