Amanda Maxon, 20, is escorted in chains to a van waiting to transport her to Oklahoma County, where she could face first degree murder charges. Maxon was arrested yesterday by Grady County Sheriff’s Deputies on an Oklahoma County warrant.
Bradley residents were curious when Grady County Sheriff’s Deputies Capt.
Larry Crabb, Sgt. Terry Alexander, and Eric Forsythe, along with Alex Police
Chief Tom Arnold, surrounded and secured a Bradley home yesterday.
While some thought that it could be yet another methamphetamine bust, the
Grady County Deputies were actually serving an Oklahoma County warrant.
Amanda Maxon, 20, was arrested on a first degree murder warrant.
Undersheriff Irene Perske said that as soon as Oklahoma County faxed over
the warrant, the deputies were dispatched to pick up Maxon. Perske said
Maxon gave herself up at the Bradley residence without incident.
Maxon was held, but not booked in, at Grady County jail until Oklahoma
County could pick her up yesterday afternoon. Maxon is wanted in connection
with the disappearance and suspected murder of 26-year-old Jens Peter
Rasmussen, who was reported missing in March from Oklahoma City.
