Arson or Insurance Fraud?

Bradley, Oklahoma--The dilapidated home that the Town Board had planned to demolish was burned down at 3:00am early Tuesday morning.  The home sat on the plot of land that the trustees are purchasing for the park.  It was stated by an anonymous source that, "Newt Nye had to tie up some loose ends with his insurance on the property on Friday, June 23."  Alan Dale Havens, volunteer firefighter whose truck is in the photo, related that, "there had been some kids lighting fireworks inside the home," a day or two prior to this incident.  It is uncertain whether the fire is the result of arson or insurance fraud.  Any investigation into the matter is unknown.

Update:  It was reported July 2 that Newt had no knowledge of the fire.
